      Significance: O historical and architectural interest-designed by Stott & Kirby to serve the growing community in the area, with important family names of Huley (Sir Liege)and Balcomb amoungst others being recorded.
      Description: East-West aligned church of 5 bays, each separated by a wide, battered buttress and slit windows within a rhythm of pointed arch fields:large west facing lancet window:flared eaves, gable hipped west end: sate roof and unpainted plastered walls.
      Interior: nine of the original pews are still in the chapel ( the others have been moved to (Darnell Methodist Church)
      Built at the instigation of Sir Liege Hulett, who was a Methodist lay preacher in the Verulum circuit, to serve the growing sugar community in the area.
      The Methodist Church building, together with the land on which it is situated, being Sub A of the farm Kearsney 2201, situate in the County of Victoria, Province of Natal, in extent (3989) square metres.
