The Victorian cast-iron bandstand, situate on certain piece of perpetual quitrent land, in the Towns, on flat site in Town Hall gardens: has beautifully detailed castiron work: green roof roof of metal sheeting, white pillars:
The fountain which was formerly in the centre of town was moved to the lower Town gardens some years ago. Called a bandstand, but never used as such, it is really a shelter or pavillion.
