Directions to Site
If one takes the gravel road westwards from Trompsburg to Jagersfontein one can see, long before one reaches them, the high ridges with a typical pointed peak, at the foot of which Boomplaats lies. About 24 kilometres from Trompsburg a farm road turns off sharply to the right up the kloof of the Kromellenboogspruit to the historic battlefield of Boomplaats.
